Canton Municipal Utilities (CMU) is a full service municipally owned utility. CMU has successfully provided electricity, water and wastewater services to the city of Canton and surrounding areas for over 100 years and natural gas service for the past 60 years. While utility service is our primary purpose, we have made our resources available to assist and support other departments of the city as well as community wide economic development.

Destin is a partnership of Enbridge Offshore (Destin), L.L.C. (33%) and Amoco Destin Pipeline Company (67%). The pipeline extends from Viosca Knoll Block 900 to Main Pass Block 260 then north to a processing plant operated by BP-Amoco at Pascagoula, Mississippi, and then extends north to interconnections with nine major interstate gas pipelines. The pipeline has a capacity of 1.2 billion cubic feet of gas per day.

Dufour Petroleum, a trucking and marketing subsidiary owned by Enbridge Energy Partners, L.P., transports natural gas liquids, crude oil and carbon dioxide by truck and railcar from wellheads and treating, processing and fractionation facilities to wholesale customers such as distributors, refiners and chemical facilities. Dufour owns a fleet of 250 trucks, 320 trailers, 10 railcars owned and 90 railcars leased, including the transportation assets of a trucking company located in Alexandria, La., acquired by Dufour in 2008.

Enmark Energy, Inc. is an independently owned pipeline operator which designs, operates, and maintains their pipelines in accordance with guidelines set forth in the Code of Federal Regulations (CFR) Title 49, Part 192 and Part 195. They set and practice high standards in the systems they design, operate, and maintain.

Southeast Supply Header, LLC (SESH) links the onshore natural gas supply basins of east Texas and northern Louisiana to Southeast markets now predominantly served by offshore natural gas supplies from the Gulf of Mexico. SESH provides customers with a reliable alternative to offshore supply, which can be vulnerable to weather-related disruptions. The 274 mile, 36-inch and 42-inch diameter pipeline with 1.0 Bcf of capacity extends from the Perryville Hub in northeastern Louisiana to the Gulfstream Natural Gas System, L.L.C.

SGR Holdings, L.L.C. ("SGRH") is a Houston based company, formed in 2000, whose business is the development, ownership and operation of underground natural gas storage facilities. The principals of SGRH have pioneered several technical processes related to salt cavern natural gas storage, including creating gas storage capacity while in operation, known as solution mining under gas ("SMUG") which is now widely used in the industry.

Southern Natural Gas Company, headquartered in Birmingham, Alabama, is a natural gas pipeline company that was founded in 1928 and is currently a division of El Paso Corporation. The company was a division of Sonat Inc. until 1999 when Sonat and El Paso merged. Southern Natural Gas owns 50% of Citrus Corp. which owns Florida Gas Transmission. The company also operates the Southern Natural Pipeline. Southern Natural currently has approximately 8,000 miles of pipeline and an additional 4,900 miles of pipeline through Florida Gas Transmission.

Targa resources is a growth-oriented provider of midstream natural gas and NGL services, and is one of the largest independent midstream energy companies in the country.

Tennessee Gas Pipeline (Tennessee) is one of the several interstate pipelines that make up El Paso Corporation’s Pipeline Group. Tennessee is comprised of approximately 14,000 miles and 1.4mm certificated horsepower. The pipeline stretches from the Mexican border to Canada. Tapping supply regions in the Gulf of Mexico, Texas, Appalachia, and Canada, the Tennessee system serves markets across the Midwest and mid-Atlantic regions, including major metropolitan centers such as Chicago, New York, and Boston.

Tri-States Pipeline is a pipeline that extends from Mobile, AL to points near Kenner, LA and has a capacity of 80,000 barrels per day. It is operated by BP Pipelines (North America) Inc.
